Jamboree Details

  • Date: Sunday Oct 19
  • Games will start at 11am and will go until about 2:30pm with an open skate for Jamboree participants and family members following the games 
  • Game will be 25 Min Run-Time Games 
  • Games will be cross ice 3v3 games + A goalie (Pond Hockey Style)
  • Roster Size: 10 Player Maximum (9 Skaters + 1 Goalie) 
  • Each team will play 3 games 

Jamboree Rules

  • Games will be played half ice 3v3 + one goalie
  • Games will be 25 minutes in length with a buzzer every 90 seconds for line changes 
  • Faceoffs will occcur at the beginning of each game, or if a referee deems necessary following a puck going out of play.
  • Qucik Resumes: After a goal is scored, the puck is covered, or penalty shot is taken, the puck will be brought behind the net and the offensive team must retreat to the half way point. The referee will then blow their whistle to resume play. The same will occur when shift changes occur, the puck will be placed behind the nearest net or dropped at center ice depending on the pucks location. 
  • Penalties & Infractions:

  • No Slap Shots or Body Checking:

    Slap shots (defined as stick above waist during the shot) and body checking are prohibited.

  • Penalties:

    Minor penalties result in a penalty shot for the non-offending team, or an awarded goal, according to Tournament Rules & Requirements.

  • Major Penalties:

    Major penalties result in the offending player's ejection from the game, with no replacement, and play resumes 3-on-3.

  • Fighting:

    Fighting is strictly prohibited and will result in ejection from the game and tournament.

  • Intentional Puck Raising:

    Intentionally raising the puck above the knees will result in a change of possession.

  • Stick Contact Above Waist:

    Any stick contact with the puck above the waist will also result in a change of possession.

  • "Goaltending":

    Players cannot lay on the ice to "goaltend", and any such act will result in an awarded goal.
