Changeover Staff: Part-time

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform work to prepare the facility for events, including but not limited to, assembly and disassembly of basketball court, hockey rink, concert stages, etc. This position is also responsible for the moving and assembly of event related materials including tables, chairs, carpet runners, benches, team equipment, hockey dashers, hockey glass, basketball flooring, etc., and more.
Event Staff: Part-time
We are looking for individuals that want to help create unforgettable guest experiences while also striving to provide the best customer service possible. Some of the areas in which our event staff assist include ticket taker, security (bag checking), usher and crowd management.

Box Office Supervisor: Part-Time
Box Office Attendants will understand and operate the Paciolan ticketing system, and provide excellent customer service to all guests and the Mullins Center.
They must know and understand each event, its seating charts, and configurations of the Mullins Center.
Lead Rink Supervisor: Part-Time
The Lead Ice Rink Supervisor oversees part-time staff and ensures clear communication, effective performance, and accountability across all operational roles, including skate guards, reception, and janitorial teams. The supervisor leads all ice operations for UMass Hockey games, including staff training, game-day logistics, and ice maintenance execution, with the ability to independently manage operations in the absence of the Ice Rink Director. Responsibilities also include maintaining high-quality ice conditions, overseeing equipment upkeep (such as Zamboni and edger maintenance), tracking inventory, and documenting all maintenance activities. Additionally, the position supports facility operations through janitorial duties, emergency repairs, staff training programs, and consistent communication with leadership, while maintaining flexibility for weekend shifts, extended game-day hours, and on-call coverage. This position will report to the Ice Rink Director.
Operations Lead: Part Time
The Mullins Center is looking for an Operations Lead to assist in leading operational changeovers, involving Ice Hockey, Basketball, and Stage builds. This position will be responsible for assisting in these conversions as well as making sure game day setup is correct for all Mullins Center events. This position will also assist in leading Operations Staff for game days, involving both game operations and parking needs.
Ice Rink Associate: Part-Time
The Ice Rink Associate helps run the events in the Mullins Center Community Ice Rink. They will operate the cash register and take point-of-sale payments and tend the skate rental room, issuing and returning rental skates. They will perform light cleaning and janitorial duties around the Rink. Ice skating ability is a plus, but not a requirement.
